The additional expense of thermal insulation makes sense for a facade renovation that is planned anyway, since the costs for scaffolding, plaster and paint are incurred anyway. According to the FIW Munich, the energetically effective additional costs on average do not even reach 30% of the entire renovation effort. It is therefore always worth considering the installation of a thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) when renovating facades.
Even if your property is already insulated, many insulations come from times when energy requirements were low or non-existent. They no longer meet the current demands and possibilities for saving energy. However, if a facade insulation is still technically intact, a second ETICS can simply be "doubled up".
We will be happy to advise you on this and work with you to develop an individual insulation and façade concept as part of an extensive renovation measure.
